The sidewall carries the size, the service description and the DOT code of the tire in front of you. The placard in the driver's door jamb carries what the truck was built to run, cold pressure included. Between them, most fitment questions answer themselves.

Still unsure a 37 clears? A shop that mounts flotation tires every week can read the placard, check the offset and tell you in a few minutes, and the same visit covers mounting and balancing.
